The Car Concierge ("we", "us") runs a doorstep car wash and detailing service in Mathura and Vrindavan. This policy explains what we collect when you book on thecarconcierge.in or message us on WhatsApp, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Booking details: your name, mobile number, area, vehicle, the package you choose, and the date and time of your wash.
WhatsApp messages: when you message +91 81919 73383, we receive your WhatsApp profile name, your number, what you send (text, photos, locations) and when you sent it.
Message status: whether the messages we send you were delivered and read, as reported by WhatsApp.

We do not collect payment card details. You pay after the wash, in cash or by UPI.

How we use it

To confirm, schedule and carry out your booking, and to reach your location.
To send you booking confirmations and service updates on WhatsApp.
To reply to your questions, including automatic replies when we're busy.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising, and we don't send you marketing messages unless you ask for them.

Who handles it

We use a small number of services to run bookings, and each one processes your data only to provide that service:

Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): sends and receives our WhatsApp messages.
Google (Sheets and Gmail): stores our booking and message records and notifies us by email.
Vercel: hosts this website and passes WhatsApp messages on to our records.

We may also share information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and message records for up to 2 years so we can handle repeat bookings, questions and disputes, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop messaging you on WhatsApp.

To request deletion, email support@thecarconcierge.in or WhatsApp +91 81919 73383 with the mobile number you booked with. We'll delete your booking and message records within 30 days and confirm when it's done.

Security

Our records are kept in access-controlled accounts that only we can open. No online service is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.

Children

Our service is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update this page and the date at the top.
